Write Club

The ACT Writer's Centre has a great four-day workshop during the school holidays for writers aged between 6 and 12 year.

During the four days, children will write a story, edit it, type it, print it, illustrate it, photocopy it, bind it together with the other stories, and on the final afternoon invite their parents along to the launch of their anthology. The workshop is being presented by Kirsten Byrne, an English teacher at Orana School for Rudolf Steiner Education in Weston. Kristen is trained as a high school teacher, but has been working with primary school children for the last several years, both in After School Care and in Learning Support.
