Meet Mark Carmody at Woden Library on Wednesday

The ACT Public Library is pleased to be hosting a visit from Canberra's keen gardener and ABC weather man, Mark Carmody. Come along to get hints and tips on how to create Floriade in your own backyard.

Mark Carmody studied horticulture in Canberra and has worked for ACT Parks and Conservation managing the landscape around Lake Burley Griffin and the Parliamentary Triangle, as supervisor at the National Rose Garden, and head gardner at the Prime Minister's Lodge.

Mark was gardening advisor on 666 ABC's Saturday morning program for several years, and in late 2007 became Canberra's ABC TV weather presenter.
