100 year wait for Mark Twain's autobiography is almost over

American writer Mark Twain explicity intructed that his autobiography was not to be published until one hundred years after his death. That time is almost here, with the first volume in what is expected to be a trilogy due for release in November this year.

Some parts of Twain's autobiography have been published in various forms before, but according to The Independent newspaper in England, this complete work is expected to be "extensive, outspoken and revelatory."

Mark Twain is, of course, the author who created the iconic Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Click here to search the library catalogue for work by or about Mark Twain.
