National Science Week 2010 EVENT: Right Place Write Time - Sci Fi Writing Workshop

Where would you go if you could travel in time? Ancient China? Medieval England? Last week? Or maybe the Future?

The Library is the best place to begin your time travelling journey! Join Australian Sci-Fi author Gillian Polack for a time/space library tour and workshop. You'll find everything you need to write your own Historical-Sci-Fi story and learn how to build on ideas, create a world and explore different genres.
This event involves a hands-on tour of the library collection guided by Gillian and library staff. Pick up ideas as you roam the shelves and then translate your thoughts into action with a writing workshop. Where (and when) will your discoveries lead you?
