Meet the Author: Stephanie Owen Reeder

Bring your lunch and join us for a chat with Stephanie about her work, particularly her recent children’s books:

I’ve Got a Feeling!, a lift-the flap book about emotions for preschoolers (An IBBY Outstanding Book for Young People with a Disability 2011)

Lost! A True Tale from the Bush, an historical novel about three young children lost in the bush in the 1860s (Shortlisted, CBC Book of the Year Awards 2010)

About Stephanie Owen Reeder

Stephanie moved to Canberra when her twins were just three months old (they’re now grown-ups with children of their own). She has been a teacher, librarian, Hansard Editor, and university lecturer. Stephanie now works as a freelance editor, author and illustrator, and her latest book, Amazing Grace: A True Tale of Shipwreck, Horsemanship and Heroism, will be available in November 2011.
