Election 2012 is history

The ACT Heritage Library's election ephemera collection has been in demand lately from researchers and from the press.

The Canberra Times published an article by Stephanie Anderson focussing on our older material, such as the tablecloth sized ballot paper for the first self-government election in 1989 in July.

Yesterday ABC Canberra journalist, Kathleen Dyett, came to shoot a segment for the local nightly news and its website.

If you have election material you would like to deposit the ACT Heritage Library would be very happy to receive it.  Drop or post them into the ACT Heritage Library, or hand them in at your nearest public library in an envelope addressed to the ACT Heritage Library.
