100 Hundred Years Ago Australia Day in July

One hundred years ago 26 January was celebrated as Foundation Day in New South Wales – it did not become Australia Day until many years later. So in 1915 it was decided that 30 July would become Australia Day as part of a nationwide fund raising effort for the war.
